Electrolysis: In this method, each hair follicle is passed through electric current. The hair follicle is fully destroyed. Instead of treating a large area as in case of laser therapy, each single hair targeted and passed through electric current. This is the best method of lip hair removal. Electrolysis has some disadvantages, one, this method is painful, you will experience the pain every time a hair follicle is treated. Second, since each hair is treated individually, this therapy can take be time consuming, and third is the cost involved in this therapy.

If the needle is not sterilized, then you may develop an infection.

So, if you are choosing method for lip hair removal, you need to select a reputed salon, where there is trained staff and which will take care of hygiene.

Apart from these two methods, you can get certain products that claim to reduce hair growth. But these methods are considered as non conventional and the benefits or the results for the same are not time tested. Therefore, one has to stick to either of the methods mentioned above for permanent lip hair removal.
